Audience theories

The hypodermic needle theory
This theory suggests that the audience is a passive, where they consumes media without thinking about it, and its where they dont have seek to have any other evidence for the media that they have consumed, the media has "injected" the audience.

Gratification theory
 This theory suggests the audience is an active and  it is not a passive, the theory suggests the audience chooses what media they consume. The media does not control the audience but the audience in some ways controls the media consumbtion.
