The differences between a film trailer and film title sequence film trailer- Gives information to the audience regarding the film release dates Usually fades to black Always see the institutional logo Shows sections of the film to grab the audience’s attention Shows a montage of clips
Here is the trailer to girl with the dragon Tattoo. its makes it apparent what the story line consiseds of, where as with the opening sesquence below it doesnt seem to give away the story line as much.
the opening sequence make the audience engage with the peice that they are watching making

Preliminary Task Evaluation

when filming our preliminary tasks we found location difficult to choose. We wanted a location where there was a suitable door , not only that but we needed suitable lighting for the piece to be filmed. with the location that we choose the only problem was is that there were people on location who weren't the actors. I had filmed the piece. i had to make sure that the lighting was suitable other wise there would have been problems with the filmed image. The equipment we used was easy to understand and use and members of the group found it easy to use the tripod and the camera its self.

The piece demonstrates continuity well, the piece it has continuous editing, We demonstrate a match on a action during the scene, this is where the actor walks through the door, this shot was a fluidly edited and it looks good with in the piece. we have also used shot reverse shot with in the scene to show the convocation between both the "super hero" and his mother.

Our Group started off working slowly in the planning process but with in the production stage we worked hard on getting the piece done to its best ability. If we were to redo the piece the things that we would have changed would have been the location because it seemed to echo when the actors spoke which meant that in the editing process we had to edit the decibels of the sound.

with in this project i have learnt a lot not only about the equipment like the camera and tripod but also with the editing software. we used Imovie to edit our piece.
